Dr. Cynthia Garner is a leader in trauma-sensitive practice, mind-body health, and mindfulness-based education. With a doctorate in Body-Mind Health and extensive experience as a facilitator, trainer, and consultant, she has dedicated her career to empowering individuals and communities to heal, grow, and thrive.
As the former Executive Director of the Rocky Mountain Mindfulness Center, Cynthia has designed and led programs that have transformed the lives of hundreds of educators, students, and community members. Her work as a school leadership consultant focuses on creating trauma-sensitive environments, fostering resilience, and driving systemic change within complex systems.
Drawing from her personal experiences as a divorced parent and survivor of relational trauma, Cynthia brings a unique depth of understanding and compassion to her work. The tools she shares in The FIERCE Healer’s Toolkit were field-tested through real-life challenges, including navigating high-conflict co-parenting, supporting educators in under-resourced schools, and helping individuals rebuild their lives.
